Capitalisant sur sa maîtrise de la transmission d’image compressée, Nevicom commercialise une ligne de produits de vidéosurveillance qui permet, depuis un poste central, de surveiller des installations distantes raccordées par réseau RNIS, IP ou ligne spécialisée.
Les équipements situés dans les zones à surveiller sont constitués d’une ou plusieurs caméras mobiles ou télécommandables à distance, raccordées à un CODEC qui peux disposer localement d’une capacité d’enregistrement. Le point central de surveillance est équipé d’un ou plusieurs PC intégrant des CODEC qui se connectent en mode sécurisé avec les systèmes distants.
Ces ensembles permettent de réaliser des systèmes complexes de surveillance à distance pour un prix bien inférieur aux systèmes existant actuellement.

Please view our live demonstration and experience the quality of CIEFFE video streaming. The video streaming occurs via VisionWeb (Cieffe software integrated in all Cieffe digital systems), which provides real time video/audio and pan, tilt and zoom camera control.
What you need To run this demo you will need :
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later
Windows95 osr2, ME, 2000, XP or a more recent operating system
Minimum 400Mhz processor
VGA colour depth set to 24 or 32bit true colour
Java and ActiveX support enabled
If you have a firewall, port 1194 and 1284 must be open since our ActiveX is streaming video.
Bandwidth :
Streaming video is normally greedy on bandwidth. Utilising Cieffe’s DeltaWaveletT compression, it is possible to stream video and audio over a slow connection with narrow bandwidth. The minimum recommended bandwidth for accessing this demonstration is ISDN (64Kbps). With an ADSL connection you should be able to view video near to real time and experience rapid response when controlling pan, tilt and zoom cameras.
Security :
CIEFFE’s ActiveX is digitally signed using VeriSign Class 3 Digital ID certificate. The download will occur once and should take less than 2 minutes.

PROXIMA LE is an embedded version of the popular Cieffe PROXIMA DVMS family. Most of the features of the larger PROXIMA LC and even the RM PROXIMA series are available in the embedded LE version. PROXIMA LE is only accessible via LAN / WAN / xDSL / ISDN / Internet.

2, 4 or 8 unsynchronised cameras can be connected to each PROXIMA LE. Internal storage of up to 120 GB is available.

PROXIMA LE is based on a fully embedded Linux operating system and can act as a server over any TCP/IP network.
It is compatible with all Cieffe client software, although a PC client is not necessary - PROXIMA LE can be fully managed through a web browser interface
